Day 32: Middle of Nowhere to Casa de Luna

We had 16 miles to go to get to Casa de Luna, which is a trail angel house at mile 478. The trail was mostly down hill with a little up and down throughout the day. My leg is still sort of tender and sore but feels better than it did last night. I am glad we didn’t have a long day planned as I felt pretty taxed at the end f 16. Luckily we got to Casa de Luna and I have been able to medicate to the recommendation of my medical consult (Ann Funk) with vitamin I and beer.

Tonight we eat taco salad and in the morning we go for pancakes. Then we are off to walk some road for the fire closure. Can’t wait.

Godspeed.

  1. Ha! I wouldn’t recommend anything I wouldn’t do myself! Disclaimer: As a matter of fact I might have been under the influence of Beer Camp during that consult…Glad you are feeling better. Enjoying the posts.
